Jan Vaughan

I was born and raised in Ashland,WI, on the southern shore of Lake Superior. I developed my interest in art while attending summer school art programs that took me to the area’s state parks and the Apostle Islands for sketching. It wasn’t until later that I discovered my love of painting. I have studied with many nationally know artists as well as local artists.
The south shore is my favorite landscape to paint. I love the combination of the lake, rocks and birch trees.
