The Port Wing Plein Air Painting Festival.
Due to rapid changes from the Delta variant in the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the CDC, this morning, July 30, has made changes in their recommendatons.
The Festival bases their decisions strictly on CDC recommendations and how/if they can be implemented in our situation.
As of Friday, July 30, 2021.
- Masks covering nose and mouth must be worn 100% of the time anyone is at any PleinAir event where others are present, indoors or outdoors.
- All receptions are canceled.
- There will be measures in place to prevent crowding at the exhibition.
Further changes, based on the CDC evaluation of the evolving situation, will be published here.
We, at the Festival, have no scientific or medical experience in virology or epidemiology and depend entirely on that of the CDC. We understand that there are differences in how people react to the pandemic, scientific and medical research, and CDC recommendations. If you do not agree with our decisions, we respectfully request that you not attend the event this year and hope to see you in 2022 when the Festival will be concerned strictly with artistic endeavors.
